Curt ran through the streets of Jerusalem, his feet pounding on the pavement. He was sweating and out of breath, but he didn't care. He felt alive when he was running.
Jesus watched Curt as he ran and knew that he needed to talk to him. Curt was a good man, but he was too focused on running. It was important, but it wasn't the most important thing in life.
Jesus called out to Curt and he stopped, panting. "Curt, komm her."
Curt walked over to Jesus, wondering what he wanted.
"Curt, ich weiß, dass du gerne läufst."
"Ja, ich liebe es zu laufen. Es macht mich glücklich."
"Ich weiß. Aber es ist nicht das Wichtigste im Leben."
Curt was surprised. He thought that Jesus would say that running was good for the soul or something like that.
"Was ist denn das Wichtigste im Leben?"
"Liebe, Curt. Liebe ist das Wichtigste im Leben."
Curt wasn't sure what to say. He had always thought that running was the most important thing, but now he wasn't so sure.
"Denk darüber nach, Curt. Ich weiß, dass du die Wahrheit erkennen wirst."
And with that, Jesus walked away, leaving Curt to think about what he had said.
